Under the leadership of Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, on February 28, 2024, the work implemented in 2023 by the Prosecutor's Offices of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts has been summarized.
According to Aram Aramyan, Prosecutor of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts, 4313 cases of crimes were registered in 2023 (4955 cases in 2022).
During 2023, 587 cases of grave crimes were recorded, compared to 741 cases in 2022. The disclosure rate in 2023 was 30.6%, compared to 20.6% in 2022.
In 2023, the Prosecutor's Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts submitted 566 criminal proceedings with an indictment to court against 635 persons (in 2022: 375 criminal cases (cases)).
As a result of the abovementioned examinations, 5 crime reports were submitted to the Anti-Corruption Committee by the Prosecutor's Office of administrative regions. 5 criminal proceedings were initiated. In order to return the illegally alienated real estate to the state and the community, 2 claims and 3 claim reports were submitted to the Administrative Court, which were accepted for proceedings.
