The Prosecutor General’s Office requires to confiscate more than AMD 15 billion from Hayk Chshmarityan, the former Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia in favor of the state

On February 15, 2024 the Anti-corruption court accepted 99th statement of claim on the confiscation of property of illicit origin into the proceedings.

 

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a request to the court on confiscating from Hayk Chshmarityan, the former Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia and related persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia the following:

 

  • 7 immovable properties;
  • 1 transportation means;
  • 2 participation in legal persons;
  • AMD 5 billion 767 million 369 thousand as a property, which was transferred to a bona fide purchaser or is impossible to identify, separate or confiscate;
  • AMD 10 billion 70 million 529 thousand  as a remainder of illicit income and funds
