Today Anna Vardapetyan Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met the delegation led by Kristina Kvien, U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The Prosecutor General thanked the Ambassador for the meeting and highlighted that the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and the Prosecutor’s Office are long-lasting partners in several directions, including continuous development and improvement of professional knowledge and skills of prosecutors.

In this context Anna Vardapetyan especially highlighted the experience exchange programs in the field of examination of corruption crimes and confiscation of property of illicit origin in the scope whereof the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office shall have an opportunity to complete trainings in foreign educational institutions.

During the meeting the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia and U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia referred to other issues of mutual interest.
