The Qualification Committee attached to the Prosecutor General (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) convened 38 sessions during 2013.
During 38 sessions, the Commission held:
One open competition in order to complete the list of candidates for prosecutors. 102 people applied to participate in the open competition, 32 thereof did not appear in the competition. The Commission submitted a positive conclusion to the Prosecutor General of the RA about 13 of the 70 applicants on their inclusion in the list of candidates for prosecutors. The Prosecutor General included 13 applicants who received a positive conclusion in the list of candidates for prosecutors. 11 persons included in the list of candidates for prosecutors have completed studies at the Academy of Justice, and 2 were exempted from studies.
Two competitions for completing the list of candidates for prosecutors performing functions aimed at confiscation of property of illegal origin.
14 citizens applied to participate in two competitions. The Committee presented a positive conclusion regarding 3 persons. By the order of the Prosecutor General, one was included in the list of candidates for prosecutors performing functions aimed at confiscation of property of illegal origin (2 did not meet the integrity requirements) and was sent to the Academy of Justice for study.
12 closed competitions for completing the lists of candidates for prosecutors and/or their official promotion.
18 regular attestations, to which 98 prosecutors appeared.
Pursuant to the Committee’s decisions, 63 prosecutors were competent for the position held, 10 were competent for the position held and were included in the official promotion lists, 11 were competent for the position held with the condition of participating in an additional training, 2 were competent for the position held and a motion was filed to the RA Prosecutor General on conferring a class rank on extraordinary basis, 8 were not competent for the position held and a motion was filed to the RA Prosecutor General on transferring them to a lower position, 4 were not competent for the position held and were released from their positions by the RA Prosecutor General’s orders.
Pursuant to the Prosecutor General’s orders № 189-A of 08.05.2023 and № 272-A, dated 27.06.2023, 3 attestations on extraordinary basis were held, to which 14 prosecutors appeared.
Pursuant to the Committee’s decisions, 7 prosecutors were competent for the position held, 3 were competent for the position held with the condition of participating in an additional training, 1 was not competent for the position held and was transferred to a lower position, 3 were nor competent for the position held and were released from their positions.

Pursuant to the Committee’s decisions, a positive conclusion was given for 33 prosecutors to be included in the promotion lists, a negative conclusion was given to 1 one to be included in the promotion list.
