On December 27, 2023 the Prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.Zh. and H.G. holding the position of the Director of Sasha and Spartak LLC during different years for extracting state owned sand from the land plot located at Ranchpar settlement, Masis community without a subsoil management permission.

Under the criminal proceedings it was found out that A.Zh. and H.G., two Directors of Sasha and Spartak company violated the requirements regarding the protection and utilization of the subsoil provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia from May 17, 2021 until May 5, 2022 and from May 5, 2022 until October 13, 2023.

In particular, A.Zh. and H.G., without subsoil management permission, applying special technique extracted mineral-sand with the volume of 25 thousand 392.1 m³, which belonged to the state and was subject to payment under the Tax Code.

As a result a damage in the amount of AMD 43 million 583 thousand 300 was caused to the state.

During December 2023 a public criminal prosecution was initiated against the Directors of the Company under part 2 of article 290, part 2 of article 291 and part 1 of article 381 of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003. 

On December 27, 2023 Sasha and Spartak Company completely recovered the damage (in the amount of AMD 43 million 583 thousand 300) caused to the state.
