On December 7, 2023 the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.G. for creating “Top Weed” online platform in “Telegram” application, illegally selling drugs in especially large amounts as well as for committing money laundering in the amount of AMD 79 million. 

It was found out by the criminal proceedings that since 2019 A.G. has been selling drugs in especially large amounts with a group of individuals for the relevant remuneration, at first as a person hiding the drugs and afterwards as a warehouseman.

During the same period A.G. regularly transferred drugs in especially large amounts from the Russian Federation to Armenia through smuggling by hiding drugs from customs control and violating the established ban (hidden in different equipment).

During 2021-2022 A.G. (involving also other accomplices) was engaged in the illegal sale of drugs in especially large amounts through “Top Weed” online platform of the “Telegram” application created and managed by the latter. 

In total 556,090 grams of "cannabis" and 190,326 grams of "hashish" were found during the search of  the place of residence of A.G., which was kept for the purpose of selling through “Top Weed” online platform managed by A.G..

 Criminal prosecution was initiated against A.G. under part 1 and point 2 of part 3 of article 393, point 2 of part 3 of article 399 and point 3 of part 3 of article 296 of the Criminal Code. 

 Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
