On December 6, 2023, the Prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against G.E., the founder and director of “REVIVAL” LLC for carrying out illegal business activities on the land located at 3 Sayat-Nova settlement of Masis community, without having a permission to use the subsoil.

Under the criminal proceedings, it was found that G.E., from September 10 to December 5, 2023, in violation to the requirements of the RA Law “On Subsoil”, without the right to use it, applying special equipment, extracted about 3000 cubic meters of state-owned mineral (sand).

G.E. sold 1 cubic meter of extracted sand for AMD 9000 and in total — AMD 27 million through the company's employee A.M. He did not pay state duty of AMD 500 thousand, as well as AMD 5 million intended for the permission to use the subsoil. As a result, a particularly large property damage was caused to the State.

Public prosecution was initiated under clause 2, part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code (illegal business activity that caused particularly large property damage).
