Based on the decision of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia dated October 2, 2023 a disciplinary penalty was initiated against the person holding an autonomous position in Syunik Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.

In the scope of the proceedings it was confirmed that “severe reprimand” type of disciplinary penalty was applied against the prosecutor of Syunik Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office, however the latter violated the rules of conduct of the prosecutor as well as internal rules of labour discipline again.

Particularly, the prosecutor failed to attend his workplace and attended court sittings in inappropriate clothes. 

On October 26, 2023, the results of the disciplinary proceedings were submitted to the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

 By the decision of the Ethics commission dated October 27, 2023, both the existence of disciplinary violation and the guilt of the prosecutor were confirmed.

By the order of the Prosecutor General of October 30, 2023, a disciplinary penalty in the form of “demotion in class rank-by one degree” was applied against the person holding an autonomous position in Syunik Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.
