In 2000-2006, B.K., holding the position of the Deputy Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Development of Yerevan Municipality, alienated the land parcel with an area of 6452.68 sq. m. next to the area adjacent to the buildings at addresses No 12 and 13 of Davtashen 4th district of Yerevan (adjacent to “Reebok” sports complex) to A.G., the daughter of R.G., the former Deputy of the National Assembly of the RA in violation of the law.
In particular, on August 8, 2002, B.K. included in the official document false information that the above-mentioned land parcel registered under the lease right in 1999 in the name of A.G., is a public significance land and is not included in the list of restrictions mentioned in Article 60 of the Land Code.
On the basis of a false document issued by B.K., the state-owned land with a market value of AMD 96 million 780 thousand as of the date of alienation, with an area of 6452.68 sq. m., was alienated to A.G with cadastral value of AMD 2 million 223 thousand 697.
On October 12, 2023, the Prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against B.K., under Part 2 of Article 182 (use of official position against the interests of the service) and Article 187 (committing official forgery) of the Criminal Code, which came into force on 01.07.1961.
It should be reminded that on September 4, 2023, the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the Court of Cassation completely granted the cassation appeal of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia regarding putting a ban on the land parcel located at 44/2 T. Petrosyan street, alienated to R.G., the daughter of the former member of the National Assembly.
Within the framework of the authority to initiate a lawsuit for the protection of state (community) interest, the Prosecutor General's Office disputes the process of alienation of the land parcel from the above-mentioned address (the area occupied by the “Reebok” sports complex) to a natural person.
