By the decision of the Anti-corruption court of July 13, 2023, which was based on the application of the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the preliminary measures for securing a claim were applied on the properties of Robert Kocharyan, RA second president and seven individuals related to him (family members—wife, children, their spouses).

Based on the results of the examination the following properties were considered illegal and shall be subject to confiscation:

• 20 immovable properties mostly in the buildings located at Kentron administrative district of Yerevan city;

• 2 transportation means;

• Participation in 18 Armenian and foreign legal persons;  

• Deposits and securities in the amount of more than USD 1.5 million; 

• Loans provided to natural and legal persons in the amount of more than AMD 10 billion.

• About AMD 22 billion as a sum total of the remainder of illicit income and the amount transferred to bona fide third parties and other expenses, which was not identified.
