A.Gh., the son of the former Head of the Stepanavan community of Lori region, acquired the  green area of common use, obtained by S.Gh., his father, as a result of criminal activity, included in the list of restrictions under Article 60 of the Land Code (land not subject to expropriation) and non‐transferable to citizens and legal entities under the right of ownership, with the goal to legalize it.

On June 27, 2023, the Prosecutor, adopted a decision to initiate a public criminal prosecution against A.Gh. under Clause 1 of Article 296(2) of the Criminal Code (money laundering).

On the same day, the decision was sent to the preliminary investigation body to charge A.Gh.

On June 27, 2023, the preliminary investigation body adopted a decision to arrest the accused at liberty for the purpose of bringing him to court.
