Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia participated in the XXVI International economic forum held in Saint Petersburg by the invitation of Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of Russian Federation.

Today, in the scope of the forum Anna Vardapetyan met Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and discussed several issues of mutual interest.

RA Prosecutor General thanked her Russian partner for the invitation and highlighted that such meetings provide opportunity to address key issues in person, to raise issues that have emerged during the cooperation and to discuss the ways of their solution.  

Anna Vardapetyan attached importance to the events implemented in the context of 2023-2024 cooperation project signed between the Prosecutor’s Offices of Armenia and Russia, in the scope whereof, inter alia, a series of lectures with the participation of prosecutors of both countries are envisaged.

Igor Krasnov thanked Anna Vardapetyan for her constructive approach and reaffirmed his readiness to strengthen the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of two countries with regard to several principle directions and certain cases as well as review the existing approaches.
