L.A., taking the position of the Head of Noravan community of Syunik region from 2001 to November, 2012 at the instigation of the former Leader of Syunik in 2012 has provided S. Kh.’s brother the metal pipes considered to be community property at a cost of 5.132.891 AMD for free.

 In 2019 L. A. was involved as an accused and charged under Article 179, Part 3, Point 1 of the previous Criminal Code against the latter (waste of money: particularly large amount of money).

 On December 26, 2019, the criminal case was sent to the Anticorruption Court from the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Syunik region according to the jurisdiction.

 On November 22, 2022, the Anticorruption Court has met the defender’s motion and terminated the criminal prosecution on conviction basis of statute of limitation.

Taking into account that 5.132.891 AMD, caused to the community, hasn’t been reimbursed, the Prosecutor General’s Office made a motion to the Marzpet of Syunik region and the Leader of Sisian community to undertake necessary means in the direction of restoring the damage caused to the community.

 On December 23, 2022, the letter of the Marzpet of Syunik region has been received at the Prosecutor General’s Office, according to which it has been informed that the regional administration of Syunik follows the process of restoring the damage caused to former Noravan community of Syunik region (it has been recommended to Sisian community to undertake actions, as soon as possible in the direction of restoring the damage caused to the community).
